White tea is unfermented, similar to green tea, however white tea come from the bud of the plant rather than the leaf. These delicate buds are hand picked before they have a chance to fully mature. The buds undergo a simplistic process of being withered and air dried. This produces a light, clean and slightly sweet cup of tea, packed with natural antioxidants.
