Origins

China, Fujian Anxi

We source our oolong tea in Fujian Anxi – a county in the southern Fujian province, known to many as the Tea Capital of China. The tea plantations are located in the lush mountains and hills, green and sprawling. As beautiful to look at as they are to harvest tea from. The soil is rich thanks to constant rainfall and a moderate sub-tropical climate, and yields the high-quality tea that Anxi is famed for. The high altitude and cool climate produce sweeter leaves than the hotter lower-lying regions, and the mountainous terrain allows for excellent drainage. There’s a reason we source so much of our tea from this region.

Very Nice

This is a nice subtle tea that I find great for period pain and bloating. It's also a very relaxing tea to drink in the afternoon. I'd recommend this tea to any woman, anyone who wants to relax and anyone who enjoys a lighter tasing tea.

Lovely notes of rose and that classic oolong taste. Works well hot and cold.

Love the beautiful, delicate rose flavour!

Shame I didn't order more because I think it will run out fast! Wish the rose flavour was a bit stronger šŸ˜€.

Teabag

I absolutely love TEADROP and particularly Oolong Rose however Iā€™m concerned about the teabag casing. I read that you say it is compostable but it seems such a different product to other teabags and would like to put it in the worm farm but Iā€™m not sure that it will completely break down.

Tea Drop

Hi Lyndelle, Thank you for the wonderful feedback :-) To give you further information on our tea bags, they are made from plant based material (corn starch). No harmful matter is detected or extracted upon using boiling water. Completely biodegraded when disposed in soil. The speed of the degradation will vary largely depending on the temperature, moisture and PH level of the soil, as well as the types and numbers of microorganisms present. Hope this is the information you are after. Thank you.
